Emily Dame, M.S.
Psychology Associate
Emily Dame, M.S. is a registered psychology associate who specializes in treating anxiety and related disorders in children and adolescents. Her areas of interest including OCD, separation anxiety, and behavior management. Emily has experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and skills modules from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Emily provides compassionate care that prioritizes client autonomy and collaboration. Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the George Washington University in Washington DC. She then worked as a special education teacher at a therapeutic school in Rockville Maryland before transitioning to graduate school. Emily recently earned her Master of Science (M.S.) in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland, where she is working towards her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.).
Outside of academic and clinical work, Emily enjoys reading, going for walks with friends, and exploring local restaurants.
