Corrina Stevenson

Corrina Stevenson, B.S., is a graduate student in the Master of Professional Studies in Clinical Psychological Science program at the University of Maryland. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bowie State Universityand subsequently completed post-baccalaureate research training at Virginia State University, where she investigated the associations between cannabis use and physiological and psychological health outcomes.

Corrina’s research focuses on the development and maintenance of substance use disorders, anxiety and trauma-related conditions, and mental health experiences and treatment engagement among historically underserved and minority populations. Her broader interests include understanding factors that influence mental health disparities and improving access to evidence-based care.

Outside of her academic and research pursuits, Corrina enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring local coffee shops, and discovering new communities and experiences.
